Back to blogging!! We'll see.

I'm starting my blog today with a photo of my little fur baby Chewie who was sadly involved in a traffic accident at the beginning of January.  He was the sweetest, funniest little cat and just adorable but heartbreaking when I had to let him go.  I have some wonderful photos and happy little memories of this kitty. My grandson took the first three photos (at the end of the page) at Christmas and they are just so Chewie. The last photo was taken when he was quite young and just loved hiding in boxes or bags.  I'd searched for ages for him and then saw his tail sticking out of the bag and had to take a photo.

Not really sure what else I'm going to write about today but just want to really get back into blogging.  I keep a daily diary but don't get to write in it every day and then spend time doing a catch up. So - here I am on a Wednesday morning, looking out at the grey skies of Lichfield.

The building behind my home is in the process of being renovated and there's a huge crane up alongside the building obviously dropping some materials on the roof top.  The building has been there for a number of years but just recently changed hands.  They fitted some guard rails to the top of the building that looked nice but oh boy, come sunshine and there was such a glare from the posts as the sun hit it.  It was dreadful and hurt the eyes, so much so that when I was in the kitchen I had to close the blinds as it really was hurting my eyes.  I sent an email to the company explaining that come Summer I would not be able to even sit in the garden with the glare, they really do shine like a beacon and I am almost blinded. I don't know if it was the same for other homes but I had a lovely reply back and they have said they will perhaps paint the posts and in the meantime they have lowered them so the glare is not as bad.

To be honest I'm not even sure I've got anything particularly blog worthy to write about, I do, from time to time, update my Blessed Honeycombs blog, not so much the others, but we'll see how it goes.

I'm loving bible journalling at the moment and spend a few hours adding notes, pictures and drawings to my bible.  I'm no artist but it's nice to have a go.

I haven't been to the library for several years and have just started going back.  Reading a book on The Bible for Grown Ups at the minute but it's taking me a while to get into it.  I've lots of Christian books I've not started reading yet and maybe I should start on some of those first but it was nice getting back into the library.  I also use their computers for researching my family tree and printing pages out as my printer doesn't work.

So not a lot of interesting news but it's a start and who knows maybe it won't be Christmas before I blog again.

Have a blessed day.
